West Des Moines, Iowa — The Iowa Automobile Dealers Association (IADA) recently elected officers and directors to serve terms beginning in April 2021.
Officers
Matt Brown of Bob Brown Buick GMC in Ankeny was elected chairman.
Jon McCoy of Truck Country of Iowa in Dubuque was elected vice chairman.
Dave Wright of Dave Wright Nissan Subaru in Hiawatha was elected secretary.
Jim O’Halloran of O’Halloran International in Altoona was re-elected treasurer.
John Gookin of Gookin Ford Sales in Story City completed his term as chairman and will hold the office of immediate past chairman.
The officers will each serve a one-year term.
Directors
Jason Willis of Willis Automotive in Clive was elected to a second term as District Three Director. Willis will continue to represent the dealers located in Iowa’s third congressional district.
Carey Kemna of Kemna Auto of Fort Dodge was elected to a second term as District Four Director. Kemna will continue to represent the dealers located in Iowa’s fourth congressional district.
Danny Wilson of Wilson Toyota in Ames was elected to a second term as a Director At Large. Wilson will continue to represent all franchised automobile dealers across Iowa.
Willis, Kemna, and Wilson will each serve three-year terms, concluding in 2024.
Lindsay McGrath of McGrath Family of Dealerships in Cedar Rapids was appointed District One Director. She will complete the term vacated by Dave Wright, who is joining the executive committee.
Tim Godfrey of Witham Auto Centers in Waterloo was appointed Director At Large. He will complete the term vacated by Kris Kramer of New Hampton, who resigned her seat following the sale of her dealership.
