- Gene McWhirter, founder of McWhirter Motors (Mount Pleasant), passed away June 26. A former Chevrolet and Buick dealer, Gene served as an IADA county director from 1995 to 2005.
- The N’West Iowa Review recently announced the winners of the Best of N’West Awards. Ver Hoef Automotive, Hi-Way Chevrolet Buick, and Mouw Motor Co. were honored in the automotive category.
