• Doris Kemna, who co-founded Kemna Motor Co. and worked for the dealership until she retired, passed away on August 7.
• Dorothy Kreider, who worked for IADA from 1974 until her retirement in 1997, passed away on August 2. 
• Wiele Chevrolet (West Liberty) donated $50,000 to West Liberty Schools for a new athletic complex. The donation comes as the dealership celebrates its 50th year in business.
• Mike Molstead Motors (Charles City) donated $12,500 to the Floyd County Sheriff’s office so they could acquire a K9. The new K9 will begin training in September.
