2023 Grant Recipients

The Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation for Education awarded $59,921 to 11 automotive programs at community colleges across Iowa as part of its ongoing efforts to support automotive education in the state of Iowa. The grants provide funds for equipment, tools and program development needed by each school.

  • Indian Hills Community College received $5,731 to purchase an A/C machine.
  • Iowa Central Community College received $7,400 to purchase paint guns.
  • Iowa Valley Community College received $3,634 to purchase 12 multimeters and five torque wrenches.
  • Iowa Western Community College received $7,500 to purchase a recovery, recycling, and recharging machine.
  • Kirkwood Community College received $1,900 to purchase an ATS Escan elite.
  • North Iowa Area Community College received $9,000 to purchase a tire pressure sensor system tool kit.
  • Northeast Iowa Community College received $9,000 to purchase a tire pressure monitoring system.
  • Northwest Iowa Community College received $4,950 to purchase a transmission flush machine.
  • Southeastern Community College received $1,358 to purchase an EV charging station.
  • Southwestern Community College received $4,549 to purchase a Snap-On APOLLO D-9 scan tool.
  • Western Iowa Tech Community College received $4,899 to purchase an AC refrigerant recovery machine.
